Zamryga mentioned on Radio Svoboda that newly contracted soldiers, who joined the Russian army in October 2023, are being dispatched to the Kupiansk sector of the front near the boundaries of the Lugansk and Kharkov regions.
- Our intelligence confirms that among the enemy ranks, there are individuals who enlisted in late October 2023. This indicates that those who barely have two or three weeks of service are being pushed to the front lines. Their training quality is clearly questionable. However, it's not just new recruits who are involved in the attacks; experienced military personnel are also present - reported Zamryga.
"Russians showing high tolerance for casualties"
As per Zamryga, the Kupiansk sector still faces a tense situation. Russian forces relentlessly attack Ukrainian positions, undeterred by heavy casualties.
The enemy attacks relentlessly. They deploy large forces without sparing lives. For instance, even if a raid involving 20 soldiers results in nearly 90 percent casualties on the field, it fails to discourage them from launching further assaults - she highlighted.
