Russian journo Yevgeny Poddubny survives drone attack in Kursk
Russian "military correspondent" Yevgeny Poddubny was injured in the Kursk Oblast and taken to the hospital. Earlier, reports suggested that the well-known Kremlin propagandist had died, but these were quickly refuted.

The information about the alleged death of Russian "military correspondent" Yevgeny Poddubny was reported by the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, Mikhail Delyagin, as well as several other Russian channels run by military bloggers on Telegram. However, these reports were quickly refuted.
The All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company reported that Yevgeny Poddubny was injured and in the hospital. It was reported that he was injured as a result of a Ukrainian drone attack.
"The Acting Governor of the Kursk Oblast, Alexei Smirnov, wrote on his Telegram channel that the 'military correspondent' had regained consciousness," reported the Russian independent portal Meduza on Wednesday evening.
"According to preliminary information, the 'military correspondent' was filming a report on the battles taking place in the Sudzhan District of the Kursk Oblast during the day," reported the Russian independent portal The Insider.
Yevgeny Poddubny is one of the most famous Russian 'military correspondents.' Over 700,000 users follow his Telegram channel. Poddubny is not only a blogger but also a regular employee of the All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. "As a war correspondent for the Russia-1 channel, Yevgeny Poddubny earned $14,000 a month in the first half of 2022, while in 2021, his salary was $11,000," reported the portal The Insider.
