Russian jet's Estonian airspace breach amid tanker clash
A Russian fighter jet violated Estonian airspace during an incident in which Estonian forces attempted to stop a tanker belonging to the so-called shadow fleet. "The situation is really serious," said the Estonian Foreign Minister, as quoted by Reuters.
The Russian fighter jet was in NATO airspace for about one minute. The Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs described the incident as "really serious".
According to the Estonian navy, they attempted to stop the "Jaguar" tanker, which was heading to Russia on Tuesday under the sanctions. The ship was reportedly sailing illegally under the Gabonese flag while actually on a course for the Russian shadow fleet.

Footage has surfaced online from the tanker, showing an identification number that matches the one on the "Jaguar." On Thursday, the "Jaguar" anchored near the Russian port of Primorsk.
The footage shows an A139 helicopter and an M-28 Skytruck aircraft of the Estonian army circling near the vessel. A military aircraft not operated by Estonia was also visible nearby, as reported by Reuters.
Also visible is one of the patrol vessels of the Estonian navy, sailing in close proximity to the tanker.
