Russian Foreign Ministry's unsettling call to end Ukraine war: 'special military operation'

Maria Zakharova is infamous for her fierce political strikes against anyone opposing Russian President Vladimir Putin and his policies. Acting as the Kremlin's mouthpiece, Zakharova condemns Western countries, the European Union, NATO, and Washington without hesitation.

Zacharowa appeals to the West. She has a way to end the war.

In a recent statement, she suggested a bizarre method to conclude the war in Ukraine. It is profoundly absurd.

"The sooner the collective West realizes that the solution to the Ukrainian conflict, which they instigated, can only be found through pursuing a special military operation, the sooner peace will prevail," asserts Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Anton Herashchenko, an advisor to the Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs, harshly criticized Zakharova's statement, sharing a recording featuring her comments on social media.

"By 'peace', she intends to destroy Ukraine. Look at Bakhmut, Marinka, Sievierodonetsk, and countless other Ukrainian cities where Russia has imposed their version of 'peace'," the Ukrainian politician emphasizes.

Dissecting Zakharova's Propaganda

The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokeswoman, Maria Zakharova, has frequently expressed her views on the war in Ukraine. According to her, the West is "fuelling the criminal regime in Kyiv by supplying weapons, training Ukrainian troops, and deploying mercenaries and intelligence to Ukraine."

Zakharova later dismissed the Ukrainian counteroffensive as a "failure". She also criticized the 10-point peace plan suggested by Volodymyr Zelensky, stating outright that "Russia will not accept this," as noted by the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs representative.
