In its daily intelligence report, the UK Ministry of Defense referred to data released by the Ukrainian General Staff on Friday. This information stated that there were 81 Russian airstrikes and 45 rocket launch strikes on Ukraine on January 19th of the current year.

The British intelligence unit also compared Russian activity data from January 14th to 18th with the prior five-day period, using other data from the General Staff. These statistics indicated a surge in attacks from Russia during this time frame. Over these five days, Russia's lost military vehicles increased by 88 percent, tanks by 95 percent, and the number of casualties and wounded rose by 15 percent.

"This data clearly demonstrates that the intensity of Russian offensive actions on the front line has been gradually rising over the past two weeks. The key factor enabling this is likely the frozen ground, which allows for easier movement of armored vehicles off-road," the report emphasized.
