Russian forces gain ground in Ukraine: New territorial advances

Increasingly alarming reports are emerging from Ukraine. Putin's forces are making progress on the front. "The Russian steamroller will move forward and reclaim territory previously captured by Ukrainian forces, meter by meter," predicts Maksymilian Dura for Defence24.

The Russian army is intensifying its activities around Kursk, located in western Russia, with the aim of pushing Ukrainians out before winter, according to the latest report from the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

"Sooner or later, Ukrainian forces will have to retreat to new defensive lines," assesses Maksymilian Dura for Defence24. His analysis suggests that as soon as the fighting subsides, "the Russian steamroller slowly starts up," which, unfortunately, has already begun to move around Kursk. In this way, Russians are gradually reclaiming the areas previously captured by Ukraine. "The Ukrainians will likely not be able to stop this process," the report reads.

Advancements in the Donetsk region

Russian forces have also made progress in Toretsk, located in the Donetsk region; the city has already lost entire districts, reported Anastasia Bobovnikova, spokeswoman for the Luhansk Operational Group, on Ukrainian television on Tuesday.

"The Ukrainian project DeepState updated the map today, showing that the enemy is advancing in Toretsk. Unfortunately, I must admit that it is true. The enemy uses the tactic of artillery, city destruction, and district destruction. In Toretsk, it's not just that there are no whole houses but no entire districts. They simply pass through and dig in where you cannot hide, where there are no shelters and nothing, " the spokeswoman recounted.
