The Russian State Duma deputy, Mikhail Shcheremet, has threatened the USA. "Russia possesses sufficient forces, means, and capabilities, especially now as a nation equipped with advanced nuclear technology," he asserts.

"The American authorities are urging Kyiv to attack the Crimean Peninsula because they are afraid of an open confrontation with Russia," stated Mikhail Shcheremet, a deputy of the Russian State Duma.

The reach of Russian weapons extends to the USA

A colleague of Vladimir Putin expressed outrage at a statement made by Jack Reed. The United States Senator recently announced Washington's intention to continue supporting Ukraine in its efforts. He hinted that additional funding would enable the Ukrainian military to push forward, possibly targeting Crimea next year.

In an interview with Russian state media, Shcheremet warned the USA, declaring, "Americans are within the range of Russian weapons."

Shcheremet criticized Reed, labeling him as "a coward and a scoundrel who avoids military service and does not send his own children to the army, yet contributes to the bloodshed of others." He added, "He should understand that modern Russia is no victim. Russia is fully capable of defending itself and safeguarding its interests. Both the United States and the regions represented by Reed are within the reach of Russian weapons," Shcheremet warned.
