The newspaper reports that the internet is being flooded with brutal recordings showing Ukrainian losses. "They depict what dictator Vladimir Putin cynically described as a 'worthy response' to the 'terrorist' Ukrainian surprise attack," the newspaper writes.
One method used by Russian propaganda is to present killed soldiers in a specific manner. According to the newspaper, the recordings are meant to be as brutal as possible and include identifying marks such as unit emblems or documents. "Everything is staged," it reads.
Simultaneously, the Russians have intensified their actions in the Sumy region on the Ukrainian side of the border. The main targets of the attacks are residential buildings and critical infrastructure sites. The Kremlin aims to impact the morale of Ukrainians again, which is currently boosted by the success of their army in the Kursk region.
Putin's troops are also not slowing down in the Donbas, where the Russians have approached within 6 miles of Pokrovsk. Local authorities call on residents to evacuate, emphasizing that "the situation will only worsen."
