The Ukrainian General Staff firmly rejected the accusations by the Russian defense ministry regarding the alleged violation of the ceasefire terms by Ukraine. In a statement published on the Telegram platform, they emphasized that the allegations about attacks on energy facilities are unfounded.

The Ukrainian armed forces noted that on March 25-26, they did not conduct drone attacks on energy facilities in Russia's Kursk and Bryansk regions, nor in the temporarily occupied Crimea. The Ukrainian General Staff stresses that the Russian accusations are part of propaganda aimed at prolonging the conflict and misleading international opinion.

The Russian defense ministry reported on Wednesday that at night, off the coast of Crimea in the region of the Tarchankut Peninsula, two Ukrainian drones were shot down. Their target, according to the Russians, was equipment of the underground Glebovskoe gas storage facility.

According to reports, the Ukrainians also attacked energy facilities in the Bryansk and Kursk regions.

The United States reached separate agreements with Ukraine and Russia on Tuesday regarding the cessation of mutual attacks over the Black Sea and on energy targets.
