Russian army struggles with body bag shortage amid Ukraine war

"Second Army of the World," as Vladimir Putin's military likes to think of itself, is in trouble again. People are collecting money to help transport their loved ones back to the country for a dignified burial. The army is helpless and doesn't even have body bags, which the families of the fallen soldiers are collecting. And the losses keep growing daily.

The war in Ukraine has been going on for two and a half years. During this time, thousands of soldiers died on both sides of the front. Despite this, much more is being said about the Russian war losses, which, although systematically tried to be concealed, are still coming to light.

The accounts of residents from the Asian part of the country, where a significant portion of the Russian army originates, are particularly strong here. It is through their efforts that information has emerged in recent days about, among other things, a cemetery near Irkutsk that has more than doubled in size due to the burials of members of the Wagner Group killed on the front.

However, more evidence of the immense losses of Russians from these regions has now come to light. A few days ago, thanks to a group for "wives of SWO participants," it was revealed that the number of deaths in the war with Ukraine is so high that the army is struggling with a lack of special bags for transporting bodies.

As one woman pointed out, she is not asking for judgment but for real help. She mentioned that the army, which is responsible for retrieving the bodies of slain soldiers from Ukraine, has a problem with shortages of body bags, without which their safe transport is impossible. That is why she is collecting money.

A large number of bags are needed for evacuation! It takes a long time for them to be provided.
