Bad news has reached us from Ukraine. A series of attacks on Ukraine were carried out by Russian strategic aviation and drones. In Kyiv, residents witnessed several explosions that resounded in the early morning hours on Monday. There was also an attack in the Lviv region.

On Monday morning, a series of attacks on Ukraine were carried out by Russian strategic aviation and drones. At least ten regions of the country were attacked, including the Lviv region, which borders Poland, and Lutsk, located just an hour's drive from the border.

The Mayor of Lutsk, Ihor Polishchuk, reported via Telegram about the damage in his city.

According to PAP, a residential building was damaged in the attack, and information about casualties is still being verified. Unfortunately, in a subsequent statement, the mayor confirmed the death of one person due to the impact on the city's infrastructure.

In the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, residents witnessed several explosions that resounded from the early morning hours. People sought shelter in metro stations, trying to protect themselves from the attacks.

Social media is filled with recordings and accounts of witnesses to these dramatic events. The attacks also caused power outages in some districts of Kyiv, and the city fell into an unsettling silence, broken only by the sounds of further explosions.

The Russian attack is a response to recent events in the Kursk region. Recently, Ukrainian politician Anton Gerashchenko shared a video on his social media showing Russians talking about the fighting in Kursk.

"I have negative feelings. One should defend their own territory first, not attack others, so it is kind of a sneaky move by Ukraine," stated a young Russian.

Despite strong propaganda, more and more people, even state television employees, are starting to doubt whether Russia will be able to repel the Ukrainian attack on the Kursk region. Studies from FilterLabs AI, which tracks sentiments in Russia by analyzing social networks and news services, evidence this.
