Peace in Ukraine: Will negotiations resume?

Earlier, Ukraine, along with countries belonging to the so-called coalition of the willing, called on Russia to completely and unconditionally cease military actions starting Monday, April 12.

Subsequently, Vladimir Putin proposed negotiations. During a nighttime address, the Russian leader suggested that Kyiv resume direct negotiations in Istanbul.
