The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for almost three years, with substantial losses on the Russian side. As reported by the Ukrainian General Staff, Russia has lost over 850,000 soldiers, accounting for both the dead and the wounded.

In the last 24 hours alone, this number increased by 1,170 people. Russia has not commented on these reports.

In addition to human losses, Russia has also suffered significant equipment losses. Ukrainian sources report the destruction of over 10,000 tanks and 20,000 armored combat vehicles. Additionally, Russia is reported to have lost nearly 23,000 artillery systems. The Ukrainian army regularly updates this data.

Difficult situation on the front

Despite the enormous losses, fighting on the front continues. The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the liberation of the city of Dzerzhinsk in the Donetsk region. However, Ukrainian analysts deny these reports, asserting that the fighting for the city is still ongoing.

In light of the prolonged conflict, more countries are calling for a ceasefire and the start of peace talks.
