In March, just a year after ending his engagement with Ann Lesley Smith, he proposed to Elena Zukova, a 67-year-old retired molecular biologist from Russia.

The couple has now taken their relationship further and are married. The wedding ceremony occurred on Saturday at the billionaire’s vineyard in Bel Air, California. A photo of the newlyweds was shared on the Instagram profile of Tatler magazine, showing Rupert dressed in a suit and sneakers and Elena in a milky dress with matching heels.

This is Murdoch's fifth marriage. He married Patricia Booker in 1956, Anne Tõrv in 1967, Wendi Deng in 1999, and Jerry Hall—the former wife of Mick Jagger—in 2016. The billionaire has a total of six children from these marriages. Zukova, on the other hand, is the ex-wife of Alexander Zukov, an oil tycoon and former KGB agent. The ex-couple has a daughter named Darya, a 42-year-old former model, philanthropist, and businesswoman. Darya, interestingly, invests in the online service Artsy along with Murdoch's ex-wife Wendi Deng. She also runs the gossip portal Spletnik.ru and owns the clothing company Kova & T with Christina Tang. Until 2017, she married Roman Abramovich, with whom she has two children. She is married to Stavros Niarchos, with whom she has a son.
