BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond broke her silence on the ongoing conflict between Prince William and Kate Middleton and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that has been going on for months. The expert revealed whether she sees a chance for their reconciliation.

Tense relations between the Sussexes and the rest of the British royal family have been discussed for several years. The alleged conflict between Prince William and Prince Harry deepened in 2020 when the red-haired aristocrat and his wife decided to officially renounce their royal duties and move to the United States. The path to repairing family relationships was certainly also hindered by high-profile interviews in the American media, as well as a document in which Harry and Meghan Markle readily criticized the royals.

The last time the "big four," the sons of King Charles III and their spouses were photographed together was events related to the death and funeral of Queen Elizabeth II just over a year ago. Meanwhile, in early September, when Prince Harry wanted to stay overnight at Windsor Castle in connection with his one-day visit in London, he reportedly received a refusal. It seems therefore that the family situation is particularly tense in recent months.

Unlike the Sussexes, active members of the British royal family have never addressed the revelations circulating in the media about the conflict with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. However, the topic keeps coming back like a boomerang, thanks in part to those surround the royals who decide to lift the veil on the royal disagreements. Former BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond decided to make such a move, giving an interview to the "OK!" magazine. The expert talked about Kate Middleton and her feelings towards family feuds.

There comes a time when you have to just accept that happy families are not a game everyone can play. Catherine felt hurt and offended by what Harry and Meghan said, but she and William make a very strong team and I suspect that they together concluded that the rift between them and Harry cannot be mended shortly - explained Bond.

The royal expert stated that just like his father "William can be impulsive, but Kate can calm him down". The woman emphasized that their marriage is based on friendship, and the strong bond with his wife helped the prince survive the separation from his brother. Jennie stated that Kate and William currently are not considering reconciliation with Harry and Meghan at all.

They closed their minds to such a possibility and decided to live on - she summed up.
