Cristiano Ronaldo, the renowned 39-year-old athlete, continues to amaze with his on-field performance. On Saturday, he scored his 133rd international goal, contributing to Portugal's 3-1 victory over Poland. This achievement brought his career total to 906 goals.
On Tuesday, Ronaldo can increase this tally as Portugal faces Scotland in a Nations League match at Hampden Park.
Prior to the match, the Portuguese team trained at the St Mirren field, while staying at the luxurious Cameron House hotel by Loch Lomond.
Ronaldo, known for his dedication to fitness, was recorded during a workout at the hotel gym. However, the player also took a moment to relax, which was captured on TikTok as he enjoyed the water slides in the hotel pool.
Dressed only in black shorts, showcasing his muscular physique, he was photographed at the top of the slide, ready to take the plunge.
This is not the first time the Al-Nassr star has visited Loch Lomond. He made previous visits during his first stint with Manchester United, before Champions League matches with Celtic in 2006 and 2008.
Portugal's great form
Portugal is in excellent form, winning all three of their Nations League matches so far, while the Scots have lost all of theirs.
Portugal's coach, Roberto Martinez, emphasized that substituting Ronaldo in the match against Poland was a planned decision, aimed at preparing him for the game against Scotland.
The substitution was an important part of our player management. We have two matches within 72 hours, so we decided to take Cristiano off so he could be ready for the match in Scotland. Diogo Jota replaced him and did a great job. It's important to utilize the full potential of the bench. Cristiano is in excellent form for our next match - said Martinez.
