Robert De Niro's joy about youngest daughter, Gia, and comparing his big family
De Niro first became a stepfather in 1976 when he married Diahnne Abbot. He then adopted their 5-year-old Drena who is now 52 years old. His first biological child, son Raphael, who is now 46 years old, was born from his marriage with Abbot. From his second relationship, with Toukie Smith, De Niro fathered twin sons, Julian and Aaron, who are both 27 years old. His son Elliot, age 24, and daughter Helen Grace, age 11, are the fruits of his relationship with Grace Hightower.

De Niro's youngest and seventh child is 10-month-old Gia, making the distinguished Hollywood actor one of the oldest fathers on record. Gia's mother is 35-year-old Tiffany Chen, a martial arts instructor who De Niro met on the set of the movie "The Intern" in 2015.
De Niro, when questioned about his feelings regarding fatherhood after the birth of his seventh child, replied, "At times, I feel people do not fully grasp the depth of what it means to be a father. It's an immense responsibility mixed with mystique, exhilaration, and apprehension."
In a recent interview with "People" magazine, the two-time Oscar winner expressed his feelings for little Gia: "She's such an adorable child. Very sweet. When I look at her, everything else fades away. Each moment I share with her brings overwhelming joy and solace" - he confidently asserted.
De Niro also revealed that he considers a strong resemblance between his own childhood pictures and those of his two youngest daughters, as observed in the images shared on social media.
