The University of Missouri student went missing two weeks ago. Now, his death is confirmed as body of the twenty-two year old was found in the river. The last place he was seen was a bar in Nashville.

His body was found in the local Cumberland River on early Friday morning police has announced. We know that he was drinking in the local bar Luke’s 32 Bridge on the 8th of March and was kicked out of it. Since than no one was able to contact him. The local workers have found the body and contacted the authorities.

We have reports that, normally, under these circumstances, with his height and weight, that he could have surfaced between 14 and 20 days. This is the 14th day, so we were really expecting anytime soon to find him (...)

Sky News reports on more information:

Police department spokesperson Don Aaron said a post-mortem will be conducted on Saturday.

University of Missouri officials said Mr Strain went to Nashville to attend a private event and a massive search was launched soon after he went missing.

Investigators found his bank card along a riverbank and used surveillance footage to track his movements.

On Monday, police released footage of Mr Strain briefly speaking with an officer who was responding to a stolen vehicle incident on Gay Street - minutes before he was last seen.
