Edible bowls, generously filled with delightful stuffing, will absolutely thrill you with their taste from the very first bite
Ingredients:
For the meat:
- 1 lb. turkey breast.
For the stuffing:
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1 large onion,
- 14 oz. of mushrooms,
- 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika,
- 1 teaspoon of dried garlic,
- 1 tablespoon of Herbes de Provence,
- 1 teaspoon of cumin,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/3 teaspoon of pepper.
Additional ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil,
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/3 teaspoon of pepper, and
- 4.2 oz. of grated mozzarella.
Preparation:
Step 1. Begin by crafting the stuffing for the poultry bowls. Use a hot, greased pan to combine the prepped vegetables, which include onions and mushrooms.
Step 2. The next step involves introducing spices into the mix: Herbes de Provence, dried garlic, sweet paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Stir the ingredients well, then remove the pan from the fire. And voila, your stuffing is ready!
Step 3. Next up is the turkey. Divide your cleaned, dried turkey fillet into smaller portions. Place each piece onto a cutting board then pound it into a thin cutlet using a meat mallet.
Step 4. Move the prepped meat into a shallow bowl, letting the fillet mold to its shape. Then, stuff each piece with the pre-prepared mixture, folding over the sides of the fillet afterwards.
Step 5. Migrate the poultry bowls into a baking dish. Lightly drizzle oil over each one and add some seasoning such as salt and pepper. Round off by adding a layer of grated cheese; mozzarella works spectacularly well.
Step 6. Put the dish containing the meat into a preheated oven for 20 minutes. Maintain an oven temperature of 338 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 7. While the dish cooks, prepare the sides. This recipe pairs well with roasted potatoes. However, a colorful salad, rice, or groats also complement the meal nicely. Finally, garnish the finished dish with fresh parsley leaves. Bon appetit!
