The bathroom ranks among the most crucial rooms in your home, marking where your day begins and ends. Naturally, you'd want this space to be clean and orderly. Typically, maintaining a clean bathroom doesn't require extensive effort. However, the task becomes considerably more demanding when cleaning the tiles. What's the best way to make bathroom tiles shine again? By discovering a homemade bathroom tile cleaner recipe, you can return them to their original look.

Add this mixture to water and wipe the bathroom tiles clean. They'll look like new

Bathroom tiles often receive the least frequent cleaning, accumulating streaks, dirt, and discolourations. Sometimes, even professional cleaning products struggle to address these issues effectively. However, this can be prevented by preparing a homemade tile cleaning solution, which you likely already have all the necessary ingredients.

You will need a package of baking soda, roughly 1.7 ounces of dishwasher rinse aid, and about the same amount of dishwashing liquid. The baking soda tackles impurities head-on, while the rinse aid works to almost polish the tile surface. Combine all ingredients in a tall bowl, adding about 34 ounces of warm water. Stir the mixture well. Soak a clean mop in this solution and use it to wipe the tiles. Once dry, they will appear as good as new.

Apply this paste on the tiles to eliminate dirt traces completely

Old bathroom tiles may require more intensive care, so a homemade tile cleaning solution might not suffice. In such cases, a potent homemade paste consisting of baking soda, lemon, and salt is recommended.

Mix baking soda with salt in a 1:1 ratio, then add the juice of an entire lemon and a bit of water until you achieve a smooth paste consistency. Apply this paste to the tiles and leave it for about fifteen minutes. Subsequently, scrub the area with a sponge and rinse off the paste with a damp cloth. Be sure to dry the tiles afterwards. Through this straightforward method, you can easily restore their former appearance.
