Revealing Putin's secret lakeside retreat: High-tech defenses, luxury amenities, and Abramovich as a neighbor

The area, now thought to contain this mysterious residence, was the property of a local tourist base in early 2010. Centre Dossier states that the base's previous owners were 'disposed of traditionally - through frequent visits to the prosecutor's office".

Residential features: Sauna, heliport, and trout farm

"Centre Dossier" is an organization affiliated with Russian businessman and renowned opposition figure Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

At the moment, the property comprises three modern residences. In the documentation, these are referred to as a 'fishing hut,' a 'barn,' and a 'garden house.' Other amenities on the property include a sauna, a trout farm, a cow farm for producing marbled beef, two helipads, yacht docks, and even a waterfall.

Abramovich's adjacent property

The independent Russian portal Meduza states that a few years ago, a structure thought to be an "air defense system" was constructed behind the "barn". The system aims to protect the residence's owner from potential threats.

A mere four miles from Putin's "secret residence", another elaborate residence is under construction. It has a dock, helicopter pad, and other luxury attributes like Putin's. Meduza alleges that the owner of this compound is entrepreneur Roman Abramovich.

In February 2022, right before Russia launched its attack on Ukraine, Russian oligarch Abramovich transferred assets worth several billion dollars to his seven children to prevent their potential freeze. This information was brought to light by "The Guardian", the British newspaper, as it cited leaked documents.
