Reduce smartphone chaos: Simple steps to disarm invasive ads and boost device performance
Ad after ad, video after video. We are constantly bombarded with enticing offers while using a smartphone. This deluge of ads impacts the performance of the device, causing it to slow down and, in extreme circumstances, hang up. The culprit behind these issues tends to be infected applications that release a virus in the form of an overflow of ads.

Some applications even allow banners to pop up when we are in the middle of text messaging or taking a photo. However, the good news is that we know how to eliminate these pesky ads. By adjusting a few options in your device's settings, you can permanently exterminate these annoying banners.
Why are there continual ads on your smartphone?
The appearance of ads while browsing a website is hardly surprising; thank Google, and more specifically, Google Ads, for that. Google Ads is a paid platform enabling businesses to display ads on any page that may interest potential customers. This process helps entrepreneurs garner customer interest. Simply clicking on a banner ad will redirect you to the associated online store.
Google Ads function on smartphones too, though in a somewhat different manner. Ads are displayed primarily because of the apps you download. While most of these apps are verified, some carry ads that pop up persistently during phone use. If you notice recurring ads on your smartphone, scan through your apps. Consider which one could have "injected" the virus into your phone.
To simplify this procedure, press and hold the power button until a dialog window appears, and then click on "restart in safe mode." This will help you identify and remove any recently downloaded apps that could potentially be infecting your device.
Disable a few settings to be freed from intrusive ads
Are you a Google Chrome user? Like most Android system phone users, you are. Open the browser and click on the three dots in the upper right corner. Navigate to "settings" and locate the tabs "pop-ups and redirects" and "intrusive ads". Just disable these settings, and you'll bid adieu to those persistent ads.
