Record number of Chinese cars in 2025 Car of the Year lineup

There is a considerable interest in participating in the prestigious competition this year. For the first time in history, the list features many cars from China.

Although 2025 is still some time away, preparations for the Car of the Year competition have already begun. We have just received the list of contenders for this esteemed title, which includes as many as 41.

As you can see, many contenders exist, but we will only know the final list on November 15th. From the approved models, the jury will select seven finalists, ultimately announcing the winner in early spring 2025.

Last year, the main prize went to the new Renault Scenic. Time will tell who will emerge as the strongest in the next edition.
