The presidential election struggle has rarely been as tense as in this year's campaign. Latest polls show some hope for Joe Biden after he has been shown to be behind for some time now.

It is still not as good as it was in 2020 campaign. Four years ago when the curren President of the United States won his first presidential campaign he was leading significantly in polls both in major states and so called swing states. This year he has been behind by now it seems to get better for him.

It is not all though. The criminal cases of Donald Trump are on the way of positive conclusion for Trump and it seems that Democrats can no longer count on him being excluded from the elections. They are going to have to beat him in a straight up manner.

NBC News reports on details of Joe Biden situation compared to the 2020:

Biden's case for re-election is strengthening, but he still enters the general election in a weaker position than he did in 2020, when he consistently led Donald Trump in national and swing state surveys, often by wide margins. His struggles come despite Trump’s mounting legal bills and four criminal cases, with one trial set to begin next month. (...)

In the battleground states that gave Biden the White House — like Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Arizona — surveys in recent weeks largely show dead heats or Trump leading outside the margins of error. A clear Biden lead was common in swing state polls around this time in 2020, but it's all but absent today.
