Fluffy and light, perfect for a mid-morning snack, dessert, or an afternoon treat. Saying we love fritters is an understatement. But instead of yeast fritters, which take a lot of time to prepare, try yogurt fritters. When I crave something sweet, I mix yogurt with eggs and flour. In no time, a heap of delicious pancakes is ready.
Quick yogurt fritters – a dessert ready in moments
Fritters usually require some time since traditional ones need to start with a yeast mixture and require time to rise. However, if you suddenly crave fritters but don't have the extra energy, make quick lazy pancakes. Take yogurt and eggs from the fridge, add a few tablespoons of flour, and in no time, you'll be enjoying a heap of delicious fritters.
Yogurt fritters have a delicate taste and a light texture. Compose them however you like: with chocolate, jam, cocoa, or powdered sugar. During the period when seasonal fruits are available, we recommend serving yogurt fritters with fresh fruits and nuts.
