Quick pistachio rolls: The ultimate treat for surprise guests
Pistachio madness has taken over the world, and I have nothing against it because sweet treats with these nuts are simply heaven in your mouth. When I don't have much time for baking but want to prepare something delicious for my loved ones, I turn to a recipe for quick pistachio rolls. It only takes a few minutes, and the dessert lands on the plate.

Puff pastry is a real treasure in the kitchen. Based on it, you can prepare many different savory and sweet delicacies. When pistachio madness started, and more pistachio-flavored treats began to appear, the idea sprouted in my mind: how about making quick pistachio rolls using crispy, flaky puff pastry?
Pistachio rolls with puff pastry
They are quick to prepare; even a person far from being a master pastry chef can handle the recipe. Crispy pastry wrapped into rolls, drizzled with milk chocolate, and sprinkled with crushed pistachios is an impossible dessert to resist.
The ingredients are simple, and most can be easily found in the store. Freeze-dried raspberries are great here, adding freshness and a sour taste.
Ingredients:
- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- A few tablespoons of milk
- 5 oz milk chocolate
- Pistachios
- Freeze-dried raspberries
Preparation:
Step 1. Unfold a sheet of puff pastry on the counter and cut it into long strips. It's good to take the puff pastry out of the refrigerator about 20 minutes earlier. When it reaches room temperature, it becomes more flexible.
Step 2. Roll the puff pastry strips. They should be quite tight so the rolls don't fall apart.
Step 3. Place the rolls vertically on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush them with milk. Place them in an oven preheated to 400°F and bake for 20 minutes until the rolls are browned.
Step 4. Melt the chocolate in a water bath and drizzle it over the baked rolls. Sprinkle everything with crushed pistachios and freeze-dried raspberries. A tasty and simple dessert is ready. Enjoy!
