  • 1 apple
  • 1 egg
  • 0.8 cups (approx. 200 ml) of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 2.8 cups (approx. 350 g) of flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 0.35 oz (approx. 10 g) of baking powder
  • Oil
  • Sugar and cinnamon for decoration

Instructions:

  1. Peel the apple, quarter it, and remove the seeds.
  2. In a bowl, whisk one egg with two tablespoons of sugar. Add the milk, two tablespoons of oil, and sift in the flour and baking powder. Mix everything well.
  3. Grate the apple and add it to the prepared dough.
  4. Begin to knead the dough, it should be firm yet pliable. If it's too runny, add more flour.
  5. Mold the dough into balls, then flatten the balls with your fingers into circles. Pinch the borders of the circles to give the rolls an elongated shape.
  6. Fry the prepared dough in hot oil.
  7. Roll the cooked rolls in sugar mixed with cinnamon.
