Quick and easy apple cookies: the smell of home and taste of apple pie in a bite

Today's dessert is the delightful taste of apple pie packed into a small cookie. Sweet apple pieces are enveloped in a crumbly dough and dusted with powdered sugar. These treats are perfect as a quick dessert - you can enjoy them immediately; there is no need to wait for them to cool. These cookies aren't overly sweet, and you can adjust their sweetness by adding more or less powdered sugar. Mix the sugar with a pinch of cinnamon to fill your home with an enchanting aroma. This recipe yields about 36 cookies.

Ingredients:

2.2 cups of cake flour

About 1/2 cup of margarine

1.5 tablespoons of powdered sugar

1 egg

0.35 ounces of fresh yeast

2 apples

2 tablespoons of sugar

1 teaspoon of cinnamon

2 tablespoons of powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions:

Pour the flour onto a countertop or kitchen table and create a well in the center. Add soft margarine, egg, and powdered sugar to this well. Mix the yeast with a teaspoon of sugar and a tablespoon of warm water and add to the center. Using a knife, blend all the ingredients before kneading the dough. Once done, wrap it in cling film and refrigerate.

Peel and slice the apples, ensuring the seeds are removed. In a bowl, combine apple slices, sugar, and cinnamon.

On a floured surface, roll out the dough to approximately 0.15-inch thickness. Cut out circles using a glass, place an apple slice on one half, and fold the cookie in half.

Arrange the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Bake in an oven preheated to 356 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20-25 minutes.

Once done, you can enjoy the cookies immediately or allow them to cool down before dusting them with powdered sugar. Enjoy your baking!
