The health status of King Charles
The king was brought to a private hospital for surgery due to an enlarged prostate. His representatives have confirmed that Charles III is now recuperating at home, feeling well, and anticipates resuming his royal duties shortly.
"The Prince would like to extend his express gratitude for the messages of goodwill received in the past week. He is heartened that his diagnosis has heightened public awareness about health matters," read a statement released on the royal family's official channel.
Queen Camilla also shared updates on Charles' health condition. She attended the inauguration of a new support center for cancer patients at the Royal Free Hospital in London. During her visit, she conversed with Dori Dana-Haeri, who facilitated a charitable fundraiser, disclosing that Charles was in good health.
"He is doing well and giving his best," she mentioned.
Camilla later expressed her happiness about the positive news. She expressed her gratitude for the concern and good wishes she received for the King's health. "That's very kind, I'll pass everything on," she remarked.
King Charles is expected to resume his royal duties next month. The monarch is grateful that having to share his health struggles served to create awareness in society about the importance of regular health check-ups.
