Vladimir Niekrasov passed away on October 24. He was 66 years old. According to an official statement, his death was "sudden". He had worked in the oil industry for 50 years, starting as a mechanic.

The oligarch was a trusted man of Vladimir Putin. He was honored with the Order of Merit for the Fatherland 4th degree and the Order of Honor.

Ukrainian media are wondering how much coincidence is involved in Niekrasov's death. They link the death of the oligarch and the head of Lukoil with other examples of important Russian businessmen who have died over the last 18 months.

Another death of a Russian manager - is it a coincidence?

The example of Vladimir Niekrasov's predecessor, Rawil Maganov, is being recalled, The man fell out of the window on August 1, 2022.

In turn, another corporate manager, Aleksander Subotin, died in May 2022. He was said to have "participated in an unsuccessful session with shamans". There have also been sudden deaths of, among others, high-level Gazprom employees.

A total of over 40 mysterious deaths of people in management positions in Russia have occurred.

Lukoil is the second-largest oil company in Russia. It is only inferior to Gazprom Neft, which is a branch of Gazprom. The brand also operated in Poland a few years ago, but it sold its stations to the Austrian company, AMIC Energy.

After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the company completely withdrew from Europe. It currently operates mainly in Russia and Asian countries. Let's underline that the Lukoil management was in favor of negotiations with Ukraine and ending the war.
