Putin's mistress linked to accused partner: international hunt on
Alina Kabaeva, unofficially recognized as the first lady, mistress, and mother of Vladimir Putin's children, is now linked to an individual that Russian authorities are keen to arrest. This person is none other than Kabaeva's former partner, who is currently accused of bribery.

The Russian president's secret services are reportedly after the former partner of his alleged mistress, Alina Kabaeva. Shalva Museliana, a police captain who dated the Olympic gymnast and former legislator Alina Kabaeva two decades ago, is reported to have committed the crimes around that time.
Captain Museliana is now under scrutiny by the Russian Investigative Committee for the "theft of state funds". Specifically, the charges allege that he accepted bribes in the procurement of snowmobiles, off-road vehicles, and motorboats intended for port security in Provedeniya, Tiksi, Pevek, and Sabetta.
Allegedly, Museliana committed the crimes while serving as a colonel responsible for "anti-crime security measures" in the Russian National Guard, which directly reports to Vladimir Putin.
English media sources reported that Kabaeva's former partner could face prison time if found and extradited to Moscow. He currently resides in an undisclosed Western country. In response, Russian authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Not severing ties with Putin
Alina Kabaeva has long been speculated as Vladimir Putin's mistress. A few years ago, the "Moskovsky Correspondent" newspaper reported that the president had divorced Ludmila Putin primarily to be with the gymnast. The newspaper was subsequently shut down, and the Kremlin firmly denied these rumors.
The seldom-seen mistress of Vladimir Putin recently attended a sports festival in her honor. At the event, she posed in front of a wall featuring the letter "Z," commonly associated with Russian nationalism and attacks on Ukraine.
