Putin pushes for faster development of advanced weaponry
Vladimir Putin explained that despite the increase in arms production, Russia still lacks certain types of weapons. He has issued an order to speed up the development of advanced weapons, including drones.

Putin spoke with arms industry representatives
During a meeting with representatives from the arms industry, Vladimir Putin acknowledged that the Russian armed forces are lacking certain types of weapons. Although arms production saw a significant increase last year, not all needs were fully met.
"I know very well, and many here who are participating in our meeting ... these weapons are still lacking," said Putin.
He also mentioned that he has ordered the acceleration of developing advanced weapons, including drones. He believes that incorporating artificial intelligence technology into the military will offer immense benefits.

Last year, Russian soldiers received an impressive quantity of military equipment. The deliveries included over 4,000 armored vehicles, 180 planes and helicopters, and more than 1.5 million drones of various types.
Despite these deliveries, Putin highlighted that there are still shortages in some areas of armaments.
