Putin plans modernization of Russian army with AI and new tech amid Ukrainian war issues

According to Putin, Russia needs to considerably amplify the production and distribution of precision missiles and various types of drones.
I acknowledge that changes are happening and quite rapidly at that. However, we need to persistently work on this trend, consolidating it. Our air defense system also requires revision – the Russian leader admitted.
Putin additionally proposed that the Russian army should primarily be equipped with equipment fostered by artificial intelligence and innovative physical principles. He envisions an invading army equipped with robotic complexes and combat lasers.

Putin contemplates running for president again
Vladimir Putin's 24 years of uninterrupted rule marks him as one of the longest-serving leaders in the modern history of Russia and the USSR. With more than 9,000 days in power (slightly over 24.6 years), he has surpassed prominent figures like Leonid Brezhnev (6601 days/ approximately 18 years) and Nikita Khrushchev (4232 days/ around 11.6 years).
The only leader to surpass Putin is Joseph Stalin. The dictator ruled from 1924-1953 (until his death), a period of 10635 days (close to 29 years).
It is now known that Putin will participate in the upcoming Russian elections, scheduled for March 2024.
