Vladimir Putin will be running for re-election and another term as president of the Russian Federation in March 2024. The outcome of these elections, although still several months away, is essentially known. British intelligence believes Putin will win by a landslide and will fortify his power. And then? The Russians will get "invitations" to the military again.

On precisely March 17, 2024, presidential elections will take place in Russia. And although Vladimir Putin has not yet started his campaign, hasn't begun to express his crazy views or visit "ordinary Russians" in their homes, the election result is already known. No one has any doubts that he will win again, and that he will rule Russia for the following years.

The next term has two goals: strengthening power in Russia and winning the war in Ukraine. This is the assessment of British intelligence, whose analysts have no doubt that Vladimir Putin will rig and win the election, and then start implementing his ideas. Until that time, he is not to make any controversial moves in the country.

And then? Well, he will have another "surprise" for the Russians. Not a very pleasant one.

According to experts, the coming months will be extremely pleasant for the Russian society from the president's team. After all, you have to take care of the votes and the expected voting result. So that they wouldn't have to manipulate at the polls too much, where Vladimir Putin's team is obviously ready. However, he can win outright without any help.

The Russians are simply very proud of their president. Period.

And what will happen next? Intelligence analysts estimate that another wave of mobilization will come, just in time for spring. Then the fighting on the front will again be more dynamic after the winter break, when the weather hampers wide-ranging actions. The Kremlin will refrain from unpopular political steps in the period preceding the elections.

The beginning of October in Russia signifies the start of mandatory military draft. The army will no longer politely ask and encourage, it will simply send summons and call upon thousands of Russian Federation citizens. Pale fear has fallen upon those who will need to put on their boots, and then head to the Ukrainian front. They already know what this means.

According to the media, even 130 thousand people will hit the snow boots. Such is the Kremlin's official plan. But independent commentators - comparing losses on the front and the army's needs - consider this a lie. And that in fact even 300 thousand Russians will reach the military. A pale fear fell on the residents because they will have to bow again under the yoke of power and put on a uniform. Or run away from the homeland, which not everyone can afford.

In the spring, even 147,000 soldiers joined the army, which means that the Russian Ministry of Defense will send as many as 277,000 conscripts to the front in 2023 according to official MOD data, but unofficially it is said that the number could reach even half a million. The fall wave begins on October 1 and continues through December 31, during which the military will be drafting men aged 18-27.
