Putin in strong words against USA. He speaks of the "failure" of Biden's policy

Vladimir Putin, on propaganda television in the Rossija 24 program, called U.S. policy in the Middle East a failure.

-The fact that it is a defeat is obvious. Why I think so: because, as I've just said during our session, the United States has essentially departed from the existing international instruments to resolve this problem. Several countries found themselves in these instruments, including Russia. They practically monopolised the settlement process- the Russian dictator assessed.

When asked if he thinks the United States will change its policy in the Middle East, Putin replied: I don't know, you would have to ask them.

For nearly a week we have been observing a dramatic escalation of conflict in the Middle East. On Saturday, Hamas attacked Israel. The attack met with a decisive response from Israel - they cut off the Gaza Strip from energy and food supplies and began air raids aimed at destroying places associated with Hamas.

During the ongoing military conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas, now in its sixth day, the death toll on the Israeli side has increased to at least 1,300.

The Israeli army, which managed to mobilize up to 360,000 reservists, is preparing for a potential ground offensive.

The National Security Council spokesman, John Kirby, emphasized in a Monday statement that the United States has no intention of engaging its armed forces in a conflict in the Middle East.

He emphasized, however, that President Joe Biden is ready to protect and defend the national security interests of the USA.

Immediately after the Hamas attack, Joe Biden assured his support for Israel. - We will ensure that they receive the help their citizens need and can continue to defend themselves - said the US president.
