Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has dismissed his advisor, Alexandra Levitskaya. According to the Kremlin, Levitskaya has held this position since 2013. Previously, she worked in the government apparatus and the presidential administration and was, for some time, the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade and the Deputy Head of the Ministry of Health and Social Development.

Kremlin information agencies published the decree signed by Putin. TASS informed us that Vladimir Putin had dismissed Alexandra Levitskaya from his advisor position. Levitskaya has held this position since 2013. Previously, at different times, she was the first deputy head of the Russian government staff, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, and Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development.

Putin's advisor dismissed after years

On May 14, Vladimir Putin appointed a new presidential administration. Decrees published on the Kremlin's website indicated that Alexandra Levitskaya would not be included in the dictator's new administration, which was confirmed by the new decree.

Finding a photo of Levitskaya with Putin on the Kremlin's pages is hard. According to the portal iz.ru, Levitskaya received several awards and distinctions. Among the most notable is Active State Counselor of the Russian Federation, 1st class (2000). She was awarded the Order of Honor (2004), "For Merit to the Fatherland," IV class (2011), and Order of Friendship (2014). She received an honorary diploma from the President of the Russian Federation (2009).

She mainly dealt with the disabled

Levitskaya, on behalf of Putin, convened meetings of the Commission for People with Disabilities, the Commission for Veterans, and council meetings on implementing state policy in the sphere of family and child protection. The last such meeting took place on April 23, 2024.

Levitskaya was born on June 2, 1954, in Russia. In 1976, she graduated from Moscow State University. The reasons for her dismissal are unknown.
