According to local media reports, Nina Ostanina, a deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation, is calling on Russians to start families and reproduce. In her opinion, the philosophy of Russian life should align with Vladimir Putin's vision. After all, the ruler needs loyal subjects. The communists also have a plan to extend the year.

Nina Ostanina, head of the State Duma Committee on Family Defense and a communist, is known for supporting the values and ideas of Russian dictator Vladimir Putin. According to media reports, the 68-year-old is convinced Russians should be more involved in expanding their families.

Ostanina allegedly called on her compatriots to support Putin's idea that the philosophy of Russian life should become a large family. The "Belsat" service quoted her words, in which Ostanina mentioned the family year that is coming to an end soon.

It seems that three months remain until the end of the family year, but for the president, it has remained a philosophy of life, and unfortunately, many in our government have not taken these words as a guide to action. We must start by creating a positive image of the family. The criteria of the national project "Family" should be based on the main indicator, success - the communist allegedly said.

In further part of her statement, Nina Ostanina allegedly proposed extending the family year to ten years. She added that large families should receive appropriate support.

Nina Ostanina has been a member of the Russian State Duma since December 1995. In the past she ran in the gubernatorial elections in Russia in 1997 but was unsuccessful. She met the same fate in the parliamentary elections in the Rubtsovsk district.
