Putin accused of manipulating Trump’s peace efforts in Ukraine
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, has accused Vladimir Putin of manipulating Donald Trump's peace efforts. The U.S. President has declared his intention to ensure a peaceful resolution to the war between Moscow and Kyiv, which has been ongoing for nearly three years.
President Zelensky stated that the head of military intelligence provided information at a meeting of the Ukrainian military command about "Russia's military potential and Putin's readiness to continue the war and manipulate world leaders."
- He wants to manipulate the desire of the President of the United States of America to achieve peace. I am confident that no Russian manipulations will succeed anymore - emphasized the President.
Will Russia strike other countries?
Zelensky warned that Russia might spread terror to other countries using drones. Currently, they are attacking Ukrainian homes and infrastructure, but they could become a threat to other nations. The President of Ukraine noted that the drones and missiles are made with foreign components, which enables Russian terror.
Zelensky called for a halt to the delivery of components to Russia. He stressed that this is not only a matter of protecting lives in Ukraine but also global security. According to him, 31 drones used by Russia in recent attacks contained 2,635 components from other countries.
- All supplies of any components for terror to Russia must be halted in order to stop this terror. And this concerns not only the protection of life in Ukraine - he emphasized.
