Put a dry towel in the washing machine. It will shorten the clothes drying time

Laundry is one of the household chores that most of us do not like. Often, hanging the clothes to dry and folding them can be problems. Additionally, matters get complicated during the fall-winter season, when the laundry does not want to dry. Fortunately, there's a way around this.

On warm and sunny days, there's no problem leaving the laundry rack out on the balcony or in the garden. However, it's different in the winter season. There are indeed proponents who "dry" laundry in the frost, thus eliminating all bacteria. However, this process takes a very long time. 

On the other hand, drying laundry in the apartment can contribute to increasing the level of humidity in the rooms, and also experience a foul smell. Placing clothes directly on the radiator cuts off the heat flow, promotes the formation of mold and can additionally destroy delicate fabrics. So how do we quickly and effectively dry laundry?

If you want your clothes to be less damp right after pulling them out of the washer, it's worth using the towel method. When the chosen washing cycle reaches the end, throw a clean and dry towel into the drum. Then set the program to spin only - if possible choose the highest spin speed. During this cycle, the towel will absorb excess moisture, and the clothes drying process will be much shorter. 

This trick will make laundry take less time to fully dry. However, remember to check the labels and washing methods before using the method with a dry towel, and also whether the item can be spun.

A spread-out drying rack with laundered clothes is inconvenient in both larger and smaller rooms. If you live in a studio or a small apartment, you certainly want your laundry to dry as quickly as possible. During the heating season, a simple trick can shorten the drying time. A sheet will be needed to implement this method.

Place the drying rack near the radiator, and hang the clothes as far away from the heat source as possible. Now spread the sheet over the entire length of the rack, and hook its end on the radiator. This will create a warm tent that will speed up the drying process of the clothes. Additionally, you can place a dehumidifier next to the laundry, which will intensify the effect.
