The Head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, has revealed Russia's potential plans. He believes that Vladimir Putin's army may attempt to escalate conflicts in the Middle East, Africa, and the Balkans. Furthermore, Lytvynenko suggests that by 2028, Putin aims to restore the Russian Federation's military capabilities to its 2022 level.

Claims suggest Russia is suffering significant casualties in the war in Ukraine, with numbers reportedly exceeding 300,000 soldiers. Besides this, there are numerous wounded who are left unable to fight further. We recently reported on a man who lost both his legs in the war and is now left on his own.

Current information indicates that Vladimir Putin's army may seek to escalate conflicts in the Middle East, Africa, and the Balkans. By 2028, the aim is for Russia to restore its military capabilities to the level it was in 2022.

The head of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, emphasizes that Russia's relationship with the West is completely shattered.

Vladimir Putin believes that failing to defeat Ukraine within three days of initiating large-scale warfare indicates the Kremlin has crossed the point of no return in relations with the West. It's now a matter of triumph or defeat for Putin - Lytvynenko adds.

It's said that Putin is convinced that only through force can he regain Ukraine and other "historic Russian lands" to restore the Empire. This reconfiguration may take 10-15 years and could potentially involve conflicts of varying scale and intensity, possibly even with nuclear weapons.

Oleksandr Lytvynenko explains that the war with Ukraine is viewed by the Kremlin as an important, not an exclusive front in Russia's global war against the United States and the West.

What are Putin's Objectives?

Lytvynenko suggests that the Kremlin has established four operational objectives. One of these is to ensure internal stability in the Russian Federation by mobilizing the population and the economy and increasing the production of weapons and military apparatus. Additionally, Putin may be looking to form an alternative coalition to Western countries, referred to as the "majority coalition".

Interestingly, Russia's budget for 2024-2026 is already set. By 2024, it's expected that nearly 40 percent of Russia's budget expenditures will be allocated for war financing.
