The cause of the injury has not been confirmed, but according to the BBC, Princess Anne was likely hit by a horse with its head or leg.

The 73-year-old Anne is the hardest-working member of the royal family and consistently ranks among the most popular. Later this week, she was scheduled to begin a visit to Canada.
