At one point, shouts and booing could be heard in the background. The situation was captured in a video shared by Belfast Telegraph reporter, Kurtis Reid, on the "X" platform. The crowd demanded more engagement from the future king in matters concerning Palestine and Gaza, chanting the slogan: "Free Palestine."
"A less than warm reaction to Prince William as he departs Ulster University in Belfast this afternoon," Reid wrote alongside the video.
At the end of February, Prince William spoke out on this issue, emphasizing that military actions should end as soon as possible, as they have resulted in "too many have been killed."
