Prince William breaks silence on Harry in new documentary

In just a few days, the British audience will have the opportunity to watch a documentary addressing the issue of homelessness through the lens of the future monarch. Prince William reflects on his childhood, sharing valuable lessons he learned from his family. At one point, he even mentions his brother.

The ongoing conflict between the sons of King Charles III has persisted for several years with no sign of resolution. Contrary to reports from "The Sun" a few months ago, Meghan Markle's entrance into the previously stable royal family dynamic exacerbated their earlier tensions. In reality, Prince William and Prince Harry reportedly disagreed over different approaches to addressing poaching in Africa. Regardless of the true cause of their dispute, the wife of the red-haired aristocrat insists that she is the most wronged party in this whole situation.

Meanwhile, as calculated by the editors of the "Daily Mail," the future king has not mentioned his younger brother even once in 6 years. This narrative changed with the premiere of the documentary film "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness," which focuses on combating homelessness. Last year, the heir to the throne launched the Homewards project, aiming to eliminate this problem in the United Kingdom within the next 5 years.

Prince William spoke about Harry

The Prince of Wales revealed that he confronted this challenging topic from a parental perspective when his children asked about the people they saw sleeping on the streets while commuting to school. He reminisced about observing the world through the eyes of a curious young boy.

When you are that small you are just curious and trying to work out what’s going on. You ask the question ‘why are they sitting there?’ My mother would talk to us a bit about why they were there and it definitely made a really big impact —with these words, Prince William recounted his first encounter with individuals affected by homelessness.

Princess Diana took her sons to homeless shelters to expose them to the realities of life beyond the palace walls. The documentary features previously unpublished photos from their family archive, including an almost 11-year-old prince playing a chess game with a man staying at a center in Westminster, London.

My mother took me to The Passage. She took Harry and I both there. I must have been about 11, I think, probably, at the time. Maybe 10. I’d never been to anything like that before. And I was a bit anxious as to what to expect. My mother went about her usual part of making everyone feel relaxed, and having a laugh and joking with everyone—William recalled with a smile.

British media noted that this was the first public mention of his brother's name since 2018, when Harry and William, along with their wives, interviewed during the Royal Foundation Forum.

Do you think they'll be able to shake hands in reconciliation?
