Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been married for six years and are building their life in the USA—far from royal duties. It is there that their two children, Archie and Lilibet, are being raised. However, there is increasing talk of a cooling of relations between them. Usually inseparable, they are now often seen at events separately. Recently, the actress posed on the red carpet with actor Tyler Perry during a film premiere in California. Her husband was in New York at the time.
Crisis in the marriage?
Prince Harry decided to address the matter to put an end to all speculation once and for all. This week, he attended an event organized by the New York Times. In response to a question about whether the ubiquitous media interest in his private life is a good thing, he referred to the circulating rumors about an impending divorce.
No, that’s definitely not a good thing. Apparently we’ve bought or moved house 10, 12 times. We’ve apparently divorced maybe 10, 12 times as well. So it’s just like, what?, he said with a laugh.
As someone who grew up in the spotlight, he also shared how he copes with it.
It’s hard to keep up with, but that’s why you just sort of ignore it, he added.
