Prince Harry faces royal snub: Inheritance at risk?

It is no secret that Prince Harry's relationship with the royal family is far from good. Since leaving the royal court in January 2020, William's younger brother has spoken unfavorably about his relatives several times, only deepening the conflict.

The tabloid press—especially in the British Isles—has long been covering the conflict between Prince Harry and his older brother William. Their relationship significantly deteriorated after Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal court, and soon after, they began speaking openly about the "inconveniences" of life with the royals. First, in an interview with Oprah Winfrey, and then in Harry's book "Spare."

The consequences were apparent almost immediately. Harry stopped visiting his homeland, even though his closest family, including his father, brother, and, at one time, his grandparents, still lived there. It seems, however, that neither the prince nor the rest of the family desired a meeting.

Prince Harry may not receive an inheritance from his father?

Harry visited London in May of this year. Although it was a short stay, the media was shaken by the fact that King Charles III did not find time to meet with his younger son. The reason was reportedly insufficient time. The lack of meetings is only the beginning of the consequences of the family conflict. Insiders from the "Closer Online" service claim that the prince might not receive a single penny from his father's inheritance. Remember that Charles's private fortune amounts to over 520 million pounds (about $650 million).

The King had written his will long ago and it can be assumed that at that time, the largest shares were allocated to his sons. However, close relatives of the monarch, as well as court officials who are his advisors, suggest that changes should be made to the inheritance. In their opinion, no money should go to Harry. Excluding the prince would likely be the final nail in the coffin for any reconciliation.

The level of distrust toward Harry is still incredibly high, to the point that Charles is being cautioned not to take his calls over fears anything he says will be used against him. The situation places the 75-year-old in a difficult position for supporting his son and maintaining a safe distance from the court case - explains an informant, pointing to the growing lack of trust toward Harry.

King Charles III has a fortune to pass on

William and Camilla are allegedly the biggest supporters of removing Prince Harry from the king's will among the royal family.

The royals hate the idea of Harry getting anything from the Windsors and the feeling is, now is the time to put it down on paper to reflect Harry’s impact on the monarchy and the stress he’s caused to his father - adds the source.

Court officials, on the other hand, point out other, more official aspects of Harry's relationship with the family.

Many in The Firm believe that, as a non-working royal, Harry shouldn’t receive any inheritance. They feel it would send the wrong message - summarizes the informant.

Do you think Prince Harry sometimes regrets moving from London to California?
