In a segment of Harry's conversation with the journalist, he first addresses the relationship between him and Meghan and William and Kate, which falls short of his expectations. He claims he always hoped they could reconcile. Unfortunately, reality quickly set in.
I thought the four of us would bring me and William closer together. We could go out and do work together - Harry admitted. I always hoped that the four of us would get on, but very quickly it became Meghan versus Kate.
The journalist then directly asked if William tried to dissuade him from marrying Meghan. He just nodded, thus confirming the rumors that have been circulating for years.
