Raising a hand if you imagined Prince Harry's narrative would take the twist of the prodigal son. Most recent news from the Daily Mail indicates the ginger prince and his audacious wife, Meghan Markle, plan to land in Great Britain in the following weeks, ready to enjoy Christmas in true royal style. It seems the Sussexes are craving a taste of the royal life again after their public criticisms of the Windsors started to backfire. Yet, the family isn't exactly thrilled to welcome them.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle lack an invitation to the family holiday gathering
According to tabloid reports, Harry and Meghan are "willing to accept an invitation to celebrate the holidays together at Sandringham," phrased with a hint of arrogance. The Sussexes should tread lightly, as no invitation has been extended yet. Recently, Harry missed a chance to discuss holiday plans with his father on his 75th birthday. Despite this, it appears Prince Charles has yet to extend an invitation.
Still, there is a chance that a December reunion could happen. Rumor has it that King Charles III is "determined to prove himself as a grandfather" and desires to spend more time with all his grandchildren, including Harry's children, Archie and Lilibet. Interestingly, it’s also suggested that the family's attempts at reconciliation may extend beyond the Christmas season. The Sussexes are reportedly open to accepting an invitation to vacation together at the royal residence in Balmoral.
