US President Joe Biden expressed on Wednesday his belief that there is a way to find funds to help Ukraine, even if Congress does not approve additional funds for this purpose. He also announced an "important speech" about Ukraine.

Biden's words were a response to journalists' question about long-term support for Ukraine, in the situation if Congress decides not to adopt the aid package worth 24 billion dollars, which the White House had requested.

The President of the United States stated that the administration has sufficient funds for the next tranche of aid for Ukraine. However, he suggested that "there are other means by which we may be able to find funds". The President, however, refused to provide further details on this matter, leaving open the question of what these means might be.

The President also expressed his concern that the chaos that arose in the House of Representatives after the removal of Speaker Kevin McCarthy could threaten further support for Ukraine. Biden emphasized that McCarthy had worked with the Democrats and the Senate to prepare a new batch of aid for Ukraine. He also noted that the majority of deputies from both parties and both chambers of Congress continue to support aid for Ukraine.

The president announced that he will soon deliver an important speech on the situation in Ukraine. He will explain to the Americans in it, "why it is critically important for the United States to maintain our commitment" to supporting this country.

When asked if he promised to send ATACMS missiles with a range of 300 km to Ukraine during President Zelensky's September visit to the White House, Biden did not give a direct answer. However, his response seemed to confirm media reports on the subject. "I spoke with Zelensky and everything he requested, we handled," stated the President of the USA.
