Recipe: decadent cutlets with cheese and mushroom stuffing
Ingredients:
Cutlets:
- 4 pieces of turkey meat,
- 2 eggs,
- 1/3 cup flour,
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs,
- Spices: granulated garlic, salt, pepper, thyme.
Stuffing:
- 8.8 oz of mushrooms,
- 5.3 oz of yellow cheese,
- 3 tablespoons of butter,
- 1 onion,
- 1 clove of garlic,
- Spices: salt and pepper.
Instructions:
- Start the recipe by cleaning and rinsing the meat. Then pat it dry gently with a kitchen towel.
- If required, pound the meat into thin slices using a mallet.
- Combine the spices in a small bowl, then evenly spread them each piece of turkey. Remember to do this on both sides. Only then should you refrigerate the meat and move on to preparing the stuffing.
- Begin by peeling and chopping the mushrooms into smaller pieces. Do the same with the peeled onion and garlic.
- Next, heat a pan with butter. When the butter has fully melted, toss the onion and garlic into the pan.
- After sautéing for a few minutes, add the prepped mushrooms.
- When the mushrooms turn soft, remove the pan from heat. Add seasonings to taste, then mix in the yellow cheese that you've previously grated.
- Distribute the resulting mixture in the center of the meat, then fold each piece to ensure the filling is well sealed.
- Proceed to roll each piece first in flour, then egg, and finally breadcrumbs.
- The last step is to fry the cutlets on a well-heated and oiled pan. Bon appétit!
