The White House has issued a request to the Congress for approval of an additional financial aid package. The package, valued at 105 billion dollars, is intended to support Ukraine, Israel, and US allies in the Indo-Pacific region.

The funds are to be used to strengthen border security. The administration of President Joe Biden has expressed its willingness to allocate over 60 billion dollars for economic and military aid to Ukraine, as well as 14 billion dollars for military support for Israel.

Billions of dollars for aid

Details regarding the administration's request have been published in a letter by the White House. According to this document, the Biden administration is requesting over 11 billion dollars for direct budget support for Ukraine. Additionally, they are requesting about 50 billion dollars for military support and other expenses, which include primarily an increase in ammunition production.

This proposal is an expression of the administration's drive to support allied countries in the face of rising geopolitical tensions. This support aims not only to enhance the security of these countries, but also to strengthen their economies, which are vulnerable to the effects of conflicts and tensions. The White House emphasizes that these measures are essential for maintaining stability and security in the world.
